Hello,

My name is Maks Vrečko. I started my private business with the strawberry cultivation in 1993. I didn’t know much about technology of strawberry growing and was open for new ideas and approaches.

 

In 2003 I heard about the technology that raises water’s quality and immediately decided to test it. Before, I spent most of the time dealing with soil (analysis and balanced improvements), but never thought about water. Even though every strawberry contains 89 % of it!

Water informing supposed to be a process which turns ordinary water back into water with natural structure and this water penetrates cell membranes easier and faster and offers better nourishment to living organisms. ‘’Let’s give it a try,’’ I said to myself. I watered one half of the field with informed water and the other half with ordinary water. I recorded the results from the first day on. For a month and a half there were no visible differences and I started to doubt the whole process. Then the harvest came and we finally noticed the difference that informed water made.

Strawberries watered with informed water were evidentially firmer. Fruit’s durability was prolonged for one day which is a lot when we talk about strawberries. The yield was as much as 18,1 % higher than on the part watered with ordinary water and the plants were much more vital after the season and were less affected by diseases.

The results were shocking! I can still remember my excitement when thinking about the possibilities this hardly known technology offers. Water is everywhere! For next six years I’ve been testing and observing informed water’s influences on strawberries in different circumstances. Results kept surprising me and I was getting more and more convinced that it’s not merely a psychological thing, but an actual technology that works on physical principles. I turned from sceptic into an advocate of the technology.

After 16 years in 2009 I quit with strawberry cultivation.

While searching for new challenges and business opportunities, I realised that is relatively unknown although the technology has been existing for 80 years at least. Searching for an appropriate product I first ran into a dead end, but after a year and a half of searching I finally found it: FLASKA was born!

In November 2009 a test line was made and after extremely positive feedback we started the regular production. Flaška entered Slovenia’s market on March 10th 2010 and was enthusiastically accepted by the early customers. I really enjoy doing something that makes others’ lives better. This feeling gets even better since we help people to take care of the environment as well.
